Lumia Series

In the search for Visual Music, I experimented with geometry based on the mathematics of music. Musical notes double in frequency as you go up each octave; these visual notes double in proportion as you down each octave, but the image of each note remains geometrically similar throughout the octaves. More than just a visual analogy to music, it was an entirely new way to create animation.
